Joyce Meng
Managing Partner
Joyce has worked in global long/short equity for the last decade. Prior to founding FACT Capital, she was Partner and Managing Director at Vernier Capital, where she led global investments in the healthcare, consumer, technology, financials, and industrials sectors. She has also worked at MSD Capital and Goldman Sachs Investment Partners.
Joyce graduated summa cum laude from the Huntsman Program of the University of Pennsylvania, with a finance concentration from Wharton and an international studies degree. As a Rhodes Scholar, she graduated with distinction from Oxford University with a MSc in Economics for Development and a MSc in Financial Economics.

Gretchen Guo
Partner
Gretchen is a founding partner of FACT Capital, with 10 years of experience in global long/short equity. Prior to co-founding FACT, she worked at Ruffer Asia in Hong Kong, primarily focused on technology and consumer companies. She has also worked at Citadel's Surveyor Capital on a consumer team and at Sanford C. Bernstein in equity research.
Gretchen graduated with honors from Harvard College with an AB in Economics. She also received an MBA and MPP from the University of Chicago. She enjoys snow sports, surfing, and adventure hiking. Gretchen is also a classical pianist.

Justin Choo
Investment Analyst
Justin joined FACT Capital as an investment analyst in February 2024 after interning at the fund in 2023. He was an equity research summer analyst at JP Morgan (Hong Kong) and previously interned at Allianz SE (Singapore) in a strategy-based role.
Justin graduated with first class honours from the University of Hong Kong with a double major in psychology and wealth management. He is an avid guitarist, and hosts an entrepreneurship focused podcast.

Ken Zheng
Intern; Incoming Investment Analyst (June 2025)
Ken has been interning with FACT since June 2024 and will join as full-time Investment Analyst in June 2025. Prior to FACT, Ken was a Summer Analyst at Silver Lake, Montana Advisors, Cherami Investment Group, and Guotai Jun’an Securities.
Ken graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and a M.S.E. in Data Science. In his free time, Ken enjoys landscape photography, hiking, stargazing, and playing various sports, including tennis and basketball. He is fluent in Mandarin.

Ally An
Director of Business Development
Ally joined FACT Capital as Director of Business Development in April 2024. Prior to joining FACT, she was an associate in Prime Brokerage Sales at Goldman Sachs for 4 years.
Ally graduated cum laude from NYU Stern School of Business with a major in Business & Political Economy, as well as minors in Public Policy & Management and Social & Public Policy. She enjoys traveling, learning about different diasporas and practicing yoga.
