US Investment Analyst Intern

About the Role

We’re looking for exceptional students who are interested in getting hands-on public equities investing and research experience in a global long-short hedge fund. Work is coordinated remotely with a team that is primarily based in NYC and Singapore. We prefer a longer-term commitment of at least 2 semesters, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, but with flexibility around exam schedules.

Who You Are

Top college or postgraduate student with interest or experience in finance and market research. Ability to learn quickly and independently. Follows through on commitments - abides by a philosophy of high work quality and consistency of effort. Does not overpromise and underdeliver. High degree of integrity. Capable of project management and external outreach, strong communication and research skills. Ideally you have a basic understanding of accounting and public company financial statements - can read annual reports and understand how the three statements flow into each other.

What You Will Do

You will get experience in all aspects of public investing - financial modeling, investment analysis, conducting due diligence checks (primary and secondary), sourcing experts in key sectors of interest for FACT, and maintaining relationships with our network of contacts. You will build and qualify topic experts relevant to our investment themes, as well as conduct primary research, such as quantitative recurring surveys, short-form questionnaires, long-form discussions.

Compensation

We will pay a discretionary scholarship.
